Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the GlyphNet API ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

GlyphNet is operated by Adaptensor, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms govern your use of our AI verification API service.

2. Description of Service

GlyphNet provides an API for verifying AI-generated claims against a semantic knowledge graph. The Service includes:

  • Claim verification endpoints
  • Harm detection capabilities
  • Usage analytics and reporting
  • API key management

3. API Usage and Rate Limits

Your use of the API is subject to the rate limits and quotas associated with your subscription plan:

  • Free: 1,000 verifications/month, 60 requests/minute
  • Starter: 50,000 verifications/month, 200 requests/minute
  • Professional: 500,000 verifications/month, 500 requests/minute
  • Enterprise: 10,000,000 verifications/month, 2,000 requests/minute

Exceeding these limits may result in temporary throttling or suspension of access. We reserve the right to modify rate limits with reasonable notice.

4. API Keys and Security

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your API keys confidential and secure
  • All activities that occur under your API keys
  • Immediately notifying us of any unauthorized use
  • Not sharing API keys with unauthorized parties

We reserve the right to revoke API keys that are compromised or used in violation of these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Transmit malicious code or attempt to compromise our systems
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Use the Service to generate or validate harmful, illegal, or deceptive content
  • Circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions

6. Data Processing

When you use the Service:

  • We do not store the content you submit for verification
  • Text is processed in real-time and discarded after verification
  • We collect usage metrics (request counts, response times, error rates) for service improvement
  • API request logs may be retained for up to 90 days for debugging and security purposes

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for the Service. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance (with advance notice when possible)
  • Emergency maintenance or security updates
  • Factors beyond our reasonable control

8. Payment and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

  • Prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes
  • You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time
  • Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND
  • WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY OF VERIFICATION RESULTS
  • WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
  • OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS

The Service is intended to assist with content verification, not replace human judgment. You are responsible for how you use verification results in your applications.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Adaptensor, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time:

  • You may cancel your subscription through your account settings or by contacting support
  • We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms
  • Upon termination, your API keys will be revoked

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
